So What Is UdderMama®? And What's With the Cute Cow?
UdderMama® was started by a mama-to-be (let’s call her Christine AKA “Moony”) who stared into her closet each day during her pregnancy, lamenting she had NOTHING TO WEAR!
After she gave birth and started to breastfeed her baby, Moony discovered yet ANOTHER wardrobe problem – no cute top to wear that isn’t a traditional “nursing” top (eck!)
Through talking with friends, she found out she wasn’t the only one with wardrobe issues (okay, so most girls have wardrobe issues at least part of the time, but that’s beside our point). She wasn’t the only one who bought maternity clothes that either 1) costs a bundle and still need replacing each trimester (hello, designer maternity jeans that don’t stretch – what an oxymoron!), or 2) are cheaper but just don’t fit right or totally “rub” you the wrong way with their scratchy materials.
She also wasn’t the only one who bought nursing wear that made you look a gazillion years old, with strangely small nursing openings that no baby’s mouth (or mother’s body parts) can fit through!
Thus UdderMama® was born. Fresh, cute, and always flattering, UdderMama® maternity and postpartum tees are our tongue-in-cheek look at motherhood. Who HASN’T felt like a cow when breastfeeding for the first (or Nth) time, nursing our babies on demand and pumping more? UdderMama® understands.
